The Waterbrook Health website provides information about the new hospital facility proposed for the site at 1-8 Nield Avenue, Greenwich and details of how you can learn more about the project.

The website is managed by Murlan Consulting Pty Ltd and supported by Urban Concepts. Murlan Consulting is the project management company overseeing the development of Waterbrook Health on behalf of the property owner and developer, Waterbrook at Greenwich.

There has been much speculation regarding the development of the Nield Avenue site. Over the past twelve months the project has evolved to a hospital facility providing health care services for the lower North Shore community. The project has involved extensive consultation with the health and aged care sectors.

In January 2008 the NSW Minister for Planning formed the opinion that the proposed hospital constituted a project of state or regional significance under Part 3A of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act 1979. Under the planning legislation the NSW Minister for Planning is the Consent Authority for the project. An Environmental Assessment of the project has been prepared in response to requirements issued by the Director General of the NSW Department of Planning.
